Stadium Dr and W Maple St, Fayetteville, AR, 72701
A bird’s eye view of the Donald W. Reynolds Razorbacks Stadium will show a fantastic stadium which looks modern in spite of the fact that it was opened in 1938 with the Razorbacks expertly dominating the field. The stadium was built for the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and has been the home field of the Razorbacks, the university’s football team. It was simply called the University stadium and then the bailey stadium till it was named the Razorbacks stadium in 1941. The name Donald W. Reynolds was added in 2001 to honor the American businessman who was also a famous philanthropist. Initially the stadium could seat only 13,500 but from 2001, it was renovated to accommodate 72,000 which can be expanded to fit 80,000 if the occasion calls for it.
