Edward Jones Dome (formerly Trans World Dome, Dome at America's Center, Russell Athletic Field at Edward Jones Dome) is a multipurpose stadium home to the St. Louis Rams of the NFL. The 60,000 seat stadium opened in 1995 and went under renovations in 2009 in order to add to the fan experience. The Edward Jones Dome is part of the America's Center convention complex in downtown St. Louis. The convention center, along with the stadium, is used to host concerts and conventions.

The St. Louis Rams played at Anaheim Stadium, a multipurpose stadium that was home to the California Angels (MLB) before moving to St. Louis after the 1994 NFL season. St. Louis had an NFL team, the Cardinals, who played at Busch Stadium from 1960 until 1987. The Cardinals moved to Arizona and played at Sun Devil Stadium after the 1987 season. St. Louis decided to build a new domed stadium in hopes of luring a football franchise via expansion or relocation to the city in the early 1990s. Attempts were made to get a new football only stadium in Anaheim but were unsuccessful, so the team moved to St. Louis after the 1994 season. The Rams played at Busch Stadium until the stadium's construction was complete in November 1995. The 60,000 seat dome was known as Dome at America's Center upon its opening but was changed to Trans World Dome after Trans World Airlines until 2001. The stadium name went back to Dome at America's Center until 2002 when Edward Jones Investments purchased the naming rights in January 2002 for $2.65 million a year and the stadium name was changed to what it's currently referred to today. Edward Jones Dome has hosted five NFC playoff games, the 2005 NCAA Men's Final Four and the Missouri State High School Activities Association football championship games. It will host the FIRST Robotics World Championship in 2011 through 2013. The Edward Jones Dome is part of an expanded America's Center convention complex and can host other events such as concerts and conventions. The playing surface consists of a "MagicTurf" system, which allows the football field to be rolled up in one hour for an easy transformation to a convention center. The stadium went through a $30 million renovation process in 2009. Previous scoreboards were replaced with LED video screens (one large in north end zone and one smaller in south end zone), LED Facia boards around the bowl of the dome, and new premium areas (Bud Light Zone and Clarkson Jewelers Club). Some of the paint work in the dome was lightened as well and painted in Rams colors (Blue, Gold, and White). For 2010, the Rams locker room has been re-built and has switched ends (from north end zone to south end zone).
