Edwin W. Pauley Pavilion or Pauley Pavilion for short is home to the University of California in Los Angeles' NCAA basketball team the Bruins. Both the men and women play events in the facility. The stadium opened in 1965 with initial construction costs of $5 million and $136 million worth of renovations in 2012. The stadium opened with a seating capacity of 12,829 but after the renovations the stadium can now seat 13,800. The stadium was named after the UCLA Alumni Edwin Pauley who made a substantial donation to the initial construction of the stadium. The stadium features folding floor seating which can be easily folded to add an additional two basketball playing courts which are good for practices.
