350 Valley St., Manchester, NH, 03104
The Gill Coliseum is home to the Oregon State University's NCAA basketball team (as well as their wrestling, volleyball and gymnastics teams), the Beavers. The stadium opened in 1949 after about a year and a half of construction with initial construction costs of $1.842 million. The stadium opened with a seating capacity of 10,000 but that seating capacity was reduced in 2011 to the current capacity of 9,604. The facility features backed seats as well as a hardwood playing court. The stadium is named in honor of the University's basketball coach, Amory T Gill. The facility was renovated for about $7 million in order to upgrade the exterior as well as comply with the ADA regulations.
