Liacouras Center Temple Owls

The Liacouras Center is home to the Temple University's college basketball and volleyball teams, the Owls. The stadium opened in 1997 after about a year and a half of construction and was previously known as The Apollo of Temple. The stadium's construction cost about $73 million and the facility can accommodate a variety of surfaces. The stadium has a current seating capacity of 10,206 but there is a small theater in the stadium that can seat anywhere from 1-5 thousand people. The stadium has hosted popular music concerts such as Green Day, Bassnectar, and Muse as well as tv shows like the wheel of fortune.
